This is a little off topic but why can’t Twitter figure out how to make money?

1. They could do some real tasty watercolor if you will ads behind the areas where we’re typing our blah, blah, blah, and make money today instead of borrowing another 35 million!
2. They could simply put a business’s Logo over to the right of our Post!
3. They could ask us if we wanted our Logo to the right of our Post! I know I would!
4. They could charge all the addicts like me $5.00 a month! I’d pay it!
5. I could keep going forever so I won’t, I wish they’d let me in the Boardroom for an hour or so!
Just some thought’s, I’d really like to hear someone else’s Idea’s

Some thought's on Marketing and advertising

General Advertising for Contractors: You the Contractor, advertise in a magazine, Newspaper, radio, television, or a billboard, and hope that a Homeowner will see or listen to the ad, need your product, and call you right away.

Directional Advertising for Contractors: The Yellow Pages, Internet ads, Google Adwords, Internet Directories, Blogs, Contractor Referral Services…
Do you think like your prospects? (HOMEOWNERS)
1. Can you name the last full page ad you read anywhere in the last hour, day, week?
2. Can you remember an ad you heard on the Radio in the last hour?
3. Do you remember a Truck Side ad you saw on the way to work today?
4. Can you name a Billboard you saw in the last hour?
5. Can you name one ad right now, from this year’s Super Bowl?
6. One last question: When was the time you sat down and wrote a Glowing Review for a Contractor anywhere on the Internet? (Except for your Company) Homeowners don’t either. The Contractor Referral services will tell you that homeowners are peeing in their pants to write reviews about businesses, no they don’t , go take a look at any of the yellow page directories on the Internet, there are contractors that have been there for years, and they don’t have any reviews unless someone is cussing them out for whatever!

You’re a Business owner: So you’re really paying attention. How many did you get?
Homeowners miss them all: They must not be paying attention!
All your prospects: Tuned out the endless scheming of marketers years ago, just like you and I did. When they do need your services, and they will.
You had better be right in front of them, or you are out of luck!

Hey Daiv, this is a great video that Adam put together. Thanks for sharing it with others, and putting some text snippets together.

And thanks for sharing some meals and great ideastorms throughout the weekend (including some mediocre epandas).
